And I think there are a few times in human lives - as your poem indicates - that we also have imprinting going on. Thanks for sharing the video. Too cute! Hope he finds his mom though! That was one of the dangers of imprinting - finding the wrong thing!Donna Smithhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13738281869266957726noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3934041490878801751.post-11003742447959952222013-10-18T10:06:12.434-05:002013-10-18T10:06:12.434-05:00The ending of your poem is such a kick in the gut,...The ending of your poem is such a kick in the gut, and what a reminder of teenage years!

Thanks for sharing the poem and making me smile with the duckling video.Triciahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/18350907653629775293noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3934041490878801751.post-66058592189222565062013-10-18T07:48:48.525-05:002013-10-18T07:48:48.525-05:00April,

I am always a little envious of all of the amazing literature available to teens today.

I enjoyed your poem. I guess possibly imprinting can have many meanings. Definitions are in the eye of the "definer." Your poem instantly made me feel as if I were sitting in a classroom as late middle or early high school student.

Thanks for sharing,
CathyCathyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08233792477358685156noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3934041490878801751.post-33916352129214263292013-10-18T06:03:00.752-05:002013-10-18T06:03:00.752-05:00Beautiful poem, April.
